note: This advanced feature s hould be employed by advanced user s only� The Router ca n be configured to work as a wirele ss network acce ss point�
Using this mode will def eat the NAT IP sharing feature and DHCP server� In AP mode, the Router will ne ed to be configur ed with an IP addr ess that is
in the same subnet as t he rest of the net work that you will bridge to� The defa ult IP address is 192�168�2�254 and subnet mask is 255�255�255�0� Thes e
can be customized for yo ur need�
1� Enable the AP mode my se lecting “Enable” in the “Use as Acc ess
Point only” page� When yo u select this op tion, you will be ab le to
change the IP settings �
2� Set your IP settings to mat ch your network� C lick “Apply Changes”�
3� Connect a cable from the WAN port on the R outer to your
existing network�
The Router is now acting as an access p oint� To access the Ro uter
advanced user interf ace again, type the IP address you specified into
your browser’s navigation ba r� You can set the encr yption settings, MAC
address filtering, SSI D, and channel nor mally�
