1. Use the troubleshooting suggestions within Belkin Setup.
2. If your ISP requi res a u ser na me an d pass word, m ake su re tha t
you have t yped in your user name a nd pa ssword corre ctly. S ome
user name s requ ire th at the ISP’s domai n may b e at t he end of th e
name. Exa mple: “ mynam e@myis p.com”. The “@m yisp.co m” par t of
the user name may need to be typed as we ll as your user n ame.
3. If you have a sta tic co nnect ion, yo ur ISP will have
assigned you an IP ad dress, subne t mask , and gatewa y
address. Please re-r un Bel kin Se tup an d ente r this
information when a static connection is mentioned.
4. You may need to con figur e your Router to me et
the specific require ments of your ISP. To search
our knowl edge b ase fo r ISP- speci fic is sues, go to:
http://www.belkin.com/support and type in “ISP”.
5. If you cont inue to have no In ternet conne ction , refer
to “Manua lly Co nfigu ring N etwor k Sett ings” in th is
manual for an alternative setup method.

If the li ght on the f ront o f the Router is sol id bl ue, the n your
Router is conne cted t o the Intern et. You may no t be co nnect ed
to the Rou ter’s wirele ss net work. Pleas e refe r to “Ad ding
Computers to Your Network” in this manual for instructions.
If your Wi ndows XP com puter is run ning SP2, yo u will
not be ab le to s et up the Ro uter v ia the wirel ess se tup
process. You will need to e ither update to Wi ndows XP
SP3 or complete the setup via a wired connection.
