No Heat
Fill
Acrylic							Dry iron on wrong side of fabric.
Acetate						Dry	Press washables while damp.
Silk							Dry Iron on wrong side of fabric to prevent shine.
Nylon							Press washables while damp.
Polyester	Dry						Iron washables while fabric is damp.
Rayon	Iron						Iron rayon fabrics on the wrong side.
	At				Light		Steam iron if fabric manufacturer directs.
	Any
Cotton	Setting						Check care label and follow the manu-
Blends							facturer’s instructions for blends; use
			Medium				the setting for the fiber requiring the
Wool							lowest heat.
Blends							Use a press cloth to prevent shine.
Wool							Steam iron on the wrong side of fabric to prevent
							shine, or use a press cloth on right side.
							Do not press completely dry.
Cotton				Heavy			Dry iron washables while damp. Use steam
Linen							as needed. Iron dark fabrics on wrong side of
							fabric to avoid shine.

EMPTYING THE IRON

1.Turn the Heat/Fabric Dial to Fill.

2.Set the Adjustable Steam Control to the Dry position, and unplug the iron.

3.Empty the water by holding the iron over a sink with the tip pointing downward (Figure H). Water will empty out of the Water Fill.

4.If all the water has not drained, repeat the emptying process.
