16.After the hood is secured, lift the toaster oven up to mount. Hook the mounting tabs on the back of the oven over the mounting hooks at the back of the hood (see Illustration F).
17.Once the back hooks are secure, hook your fingers around the feet on the front of the toaster oven (see Illustration G). Pull forward and push up on the feet at the same time to engage the front hooks.
18.Plug into standard electrical outlet. Extra cord can be hung over cord management hook behind unit (see Illustration H).

GETTING STARTED
•Please go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty.
•Wash all removable parts as instructed in CARE AND CLEANING section of this manual.
•Wipe outside of appliance with a damp cloth; dry thoroughly.
•Insert slide rack.
•Remove tie from cord and unwind.
•Remove tag from plug.
•Plug unit into electrical outlet.
Caution: This oven gets hot. When in use, always use oven mitts or potholders when touching any outer or inner surface of the oven (P).

Note: During first few minutes of use you may notice smoke and a slight odor. This is normal and should cause no concern.
HELPFUL HINTS ABOUT YOUR OVEN
•When the oven is in operation, the blue light will come on and remain illuminated until the oven is turned off manually by pressing the CANCEL button or automatically when the timer has been used.
•The oven automatically incorporates the preheat time, normally about 7 minutes. It will not start baking nor will the timer start counting down until the selected baking temperature has been reached.
•This oven has a 30 minute timer.
•Metal, ovenproof glass and ceramic bakeware without lids can be used in the oven.
•If foods require covering, use aluminum foil.
