3-MBPS WIRELESS ETHERNET HUBS, ADAPTERS, AND BRIDGES

5.1.5WLAN PARAMETERS

The WLAN Parameters Menu contains the following sub-menus:

Hopping Sequence

The hopping sequence is a parameter that is set for the Hub. The stations learn it from the Hub at the association process.

Changing this parameter is useful when several Hubs are co-located. This reduces the probability of frame collision between co-located cells.

Range

The Hopping Sequence must be in the range between 1 and 22.

Default Value

The default value is 1.

Access Rights

This value is read-write on the Hub, and read-only on the stations.
