4. EDID Learning

1.Power off the transmitter and disconnect the CAT5/5e/6 cable between the transmitter and the receiver.

2.Using an HDMI cable, connect the HDMI display to the “HDMI IN” connector on the transmitter.

3.Set “MODE” on the transmitter.

4.Power on the transmitter.

5.The LED next to the RJ-45 connector on the transmitter will dim and light again, which indicates that the EDID learning procedure is complete.

6.Unplug the HDMI cable from the display and follow the instructions in

Chapter 3 to set up the extender.
