DSC programming

The car stereo has been equipped with DSC (Direct Software Control) to allow you to customize certain programmable, basic set- tings to suit your personal needs and pref- erences and then store them.

The basic settings for this audio equipment were made at the factory.

In the following you can find an overview of these settings, so that you can always reset to them if desired.

If you wish to alter any of the programming,

press DSC.

CD NAME Only available during CD playback.

Use this function to name your CDs. (See “Entering CD names”)

SHARX Switches the bandwidth in the FM frequency range. When there are a large number of stations within your current reception range, use << >> to switch to SHARX ON which will prevent most interference from adjacent radio stations.

“LO” stands for local recep- tion.

“DX” stands for distant re- ception.

Select “LO 3” if you want to receive strong stations in the local area, select “DX 1” if you want to tune into weaker stations which are further away.
