Paso 2: Preparar el recorte en la cubierta

Para una instalación con parrilla, consultar la Parte A y la Figura 7 (Página 46). Para una instalación con parrilla de otra marca, consultar la Parte B (Página 47).

Verificar para todas las instalaciones, que todos los recortes liberen el interior del riel de soporte delantero de la cubierta, y que la parrilla y la ventilación queden centradas de izquierda a derecha dentro del recorte. Además, asegurar que los recortes en la parte delantera y trasera estén rectos y paralelos al borde delantero de la cubierta y la salpicadura trasera y/o la pared. Asegurar que los recortes laterales estén cuadrados a los recortes de la parte delantera y trasera. Todas las ilustraciones y dimensiones se basan en gabinetes estándar estilo americano de 24” de profundidad por 36” de altura con cubiertas de 25”.

Cuando instale cubiertas laminadas o con superficies sólidas como Surell™ y Corian®, asegurarse de seguir las instrucciones del fabricante de la cubierta con respecto a los mínimos radios de esquinas, el refuerzo de las esquinas, etc.

Consulte las instrucciones de instalación de la parrilla para los espacios libres de gabinetes elevados y los costados de la parrilla.

A.Oara la instalación con parrilla (Figura 7 y Tabla 2).

Proporcionar una abertura en la cubierta como se especifica en la Tabla 3 (Página 47). Asegurar que la distancia del frente de la cubierta al frente del recorte no sea menos que la dimensión ”SB”. Verificar que la cubierta plana disponible sea más grande que las dimensiones ”OW” por ”OD”.

Asegurar que el grosor de la salpicadura trasera no rebase la dimensión ”BT”.
