Do not allow aluminum foil, paper or cloth to come in contact with a hot bur grate. Do not allow pans to boil dry.
DO NOT TOUCH SURFACE UNITS OR AREAS NEAR UNITS. Surface units may hot even though they are dark in color. Areas near surface units may become enough to cause burns. During and after use, do not touch, or let clothing or flammable materials contact surface units or areas near units until they have ha sufficent time to cool.
Use only dry potholders; moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces may cause burns from steam. Do not let potholder touch hot heating elements. Do not us towel or bulky cloth.
Never move a pan of hot oil, especially a deep fat fryer. Wait until it is cool.
Never leave the cooktop unattended when in use. Boilovers cause smoking, an greasy spillovers may ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or medium settings.
Always turn hood ON when cooking at high heat or when flambeing food (i.e. Crepes Suzette, Cherries Jubilee, Peppercorn Beef Flambe')
