Cleaning

To avoid accidents, always
disconnect the tool and/or
charger fro m th e po wer supply bef ore
cleaning . The tool may be cleane d mo st
effectively with com pressed dry air. Always
wear safety goggles when cleaning tools
with compressed air.
Ventilation openings and switch levers must
be kept clean and free of foreign matter. Do
not a ttempt to clea n by inse rting poin ted
objects through opening.
Certa in clea ning ag ent s
and solv ents damage
plastic parts. Some of these are: gasoline,
car bon tetrac hloride, chlo rinated clea ning
solvents, ammonia and household detergents
that contain ammonia.

If an e xten sion cord is
neces sary , a c ord with
adequate size conductors that is capable of
carrying the current necessary for your tool
must be used. Thi s will prevent e xcessive
voltage drop, loss o f power or overhea ting.

cords that have 3-prong plugs and
receptacles.
