RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION

Be Educated:

All users must read and fullyunderstand all informationcontainedin this owner’smanual before assembling, operating, or maintainingthis air compressor.

Avoid Moving Parts:

When the compressor is plugged into an electricalsource and the pressureswitchis in the “ON” position, this compressor will cycle automatically.

Never touch any moving parts.

Keep all body parts,hair, clothing,and jewelryaway from movingparts.

Never operate the air compressor withoutall guardsand shroudsin place.

Never stand on the compressor.

Attachmentsand Accessories:

For any attachment or accessory you will be usingwith this compressor, the maximum allowable recommended pressure shouldbe clearlymarked on the productor shouldbe clearly noted within the operationsmanual.Exceedingthe pressureratingof these attachments (including, but not limitedto:airtools,air operatedaccessories,sprayguns, air hose, air hose connections, tiresand otherinflatables)couldcausethem to fly apartor explode and could result in seriousinjury.

Never exceed the maximum allowablepressurerecommendedby the manufacturerof any attachment or accessory you use with this compressor.

Personal Protection:

The employer and/or user must ensurethat propereye protectionis worn. Eye protection equipment must conform to the requirementsof the AmericanNationalStandardsInstitute ANSI Z87.1 and provide both frontal and side protection.

NOTICE!: Non-side shielded spectaclesand face shieldsalonedo not provideadequate protection. Eye protectionconformingto ANSI Z87.1will always be marked“Z87”.

Additional SafetyProtectionwill be requiredin some environments. For example, the working area may includeexposureto noiselevelwhichcan lead to hearing damage. The employer and user must ensurethat any necessaryhearingprotectionis provided and used by the operatorand othersin the work area. Some environmentswill require the use of head protectionequipment. When required,the employerand user must ensure that head protection conformingto ANSI Z89.1.

Always wear eye protection.

Wear proper hearing and head protection.

Compressed air blast must neverbe aimedat anyone. Compressedair can causebodily injury and can propel loose particlesand smallobjectsat high speed.

Keep children away from area of operation.

Transporting:

Use the handle to move the compressor. Do not drag or pull the compressorby the power cord or air hose. Always disconnectthe air compressorbeforetransporting.
