Vent connections must be firmly pressed together, so that the gaskets form an airtight seal. Secure the
system with a vent pipe clamp or perforated hanger iron.
High Altitude Installations
The default setting for the water is 0-2,000 ft (0-610 m) with dip switch numbers 2 and 3 in the OFF
position. If this water heater is installed at a higher altitude, it is necessary to modify the dip switch
settings according to Table 9.
