Adjusting the Width of the Base
The base width can be adjusted for a proper fit, to improve
1 Before placing child in seat, squeeze 
both adjustment levers while pulling arm rests apart to achieve the widest base position. (Fig. A)

2 Place child in the seat. Squeeze both
adjustment levers to adjust the armrests and base width to the desired position.

Note: Armrests should fit snugly against child’s hips. As your child grows, further width adjustments will become necessary.

Adjusting Headrest Height

Checkseat. fit with child seated in booster
With one hand, grasp and pull up on
Slide headrest up or down to the desired height and release adjustment handle. Repeat process until headrest is positioned properly with the shoulder belt resting comfortably across the child’s shoulders. (Fig. B)
Tip: Make note of the adjustment needed for a fit where the belt guides are even with, or just above, the child’s shoulder.
