ADDITIONAL MEMORY

This printer has 4.0 MByte of standard memory and has one slot for optional additional memory. The memory can be expanded up to 36 MBytes by installing a commercially available single in-line memory module (SIMM).

Additional memory is useful and may be necessary if you are using the BR-Script 2 emulation, or the Page Protection function, full page graphics with APT or 1200 x 600 dpi resolution set to on. (For details about Page Protection, see Chapter 3 “Other Features” .)
