aOpen the front cover.

bSlowly take out the drum unit and toner ca rtridge assembly. The jammed paper will be pu lled out with

the drum unit and toner cartridge assem bly.

CAUTION

We recommend that you put the drum unit an d toner cartridge assembly on a piece of disposab le paper or

cloth in case you accidentally spill or sca tter toner.

To prevent damage to the printer caused by static electricity, DO NOT touch the electrodes shown in the

illustration.

cClose the front cover.

Do not put the drum unit and toner cart ridge assembly back in at this point.
