ADDITIONAL MEMORY (HL-1050 Only)

The HL-820/1020/1040printers have 2 Mbyte of standard memory and additional memory cannot be fitted.

The HL-1050printer has 4 Mbyte of standard memory and a slot for optional additional memory. The memory can be expanded up to 36 Mbytes total by installing a commercially available single in-line memory module (SIMM).

✒Note

The HL-820/1020/1040 machine memory cannot be expanded.

Additional memory is useful and may be necessary if you are using the

Page Protection function.
