This chapter explains how to print from Macintosh® on a Network.

machine.

Printing from a Macintosh® using the Simple

Network Configuration capabilities

(Mac OS® X 10.2.4 or greater)

The Simple Network Configuration capabilities let you create an
instant network of computers and smart devices just by connecting
them to each other.
The Simple Network Configuration capabilities on a Macintosh®
running OS® X allow your machine to automatically configure its IP
address settings.
Refer to the information below if you wish to learn how to configure
a Brother machine into a Mac OS® X Simple Network Configuration
environment. Please note that you must use the version Mac OS® X
10.2.4 or greater.
