Inserting a piping
aPlace the piping between two fabrics inside
out, as shown below.

bRefer to the steps of attaching the adjustable
zipper/piping foot on the previous page.
cSew along the piping.
dAfter sewing, turn them over.
After adjusting the needle position, slowly
turn the balance wheel toward you and
check the needle does not touch
(counterclockwise) the presser foot. If the
needle hits the presser foot, the needle
may bend or break.
When sewing, be sure that the needle
does not touch the zipper, otherwise the
needle may bend or break.
