edge of the fabric, and sew using stitch 22 .

Using the 1/4 inch quilting foot
If the 1/4 inch quilting foot is used, seams can be
sewn with a seam allowance of 6.4 mm (1/4
inch).
aBaste or pin along the seam allowance of the
fabric that you wish to piece together.
bAttach the 1/4 inch quilting foot.

cSelect stitch 3.
dAlign the mark at the upper edge of the 1/4
inch quilting foot with the upper edge of the
fabric.
Align the right edge of the fabric with the right
edge of the narrow part of the 1/4 inch quilting
foot.

bBeginning of stitching
When sewing with a seam allowance, align the
left edge of the narrow part of the 1/4 inch
quilting foot with the fabric edge.

eStart sewing.
fWhen the end of the stitching is reached, stop
the sewing machine.
Sew until the mark at the lower edge of the 1/4
inch quilting foot aligns with the lower edge of
the fabric.
