ELECTRIC HEAT - Selecting Electric Heat on, page 7, step 6, will cause the thermostat to turn on the fan immediately any time there is a heat demand. Since all gas furnaces control the fan, this feature should be off unless the heater is only electric.
KEYPAD LOCK - To prevent unauthorized use of the thermostat, the front panel buttons may be disabled. To disable, or ‘lock’ the keypad, press and hold in the Mode button.
While holding the Mode button in, press the Up and Down buttons in together.
