When the unit automatically powers down, operation will always return to the normal operation (i.e. away from SETUP) with the last used ARC mode active (i.e. BOW, RIFLE, or REGULAR) along with the last used TARGETING modes active (Standard SCAN, BULLSEYE, or BRUSH). If the unit turns off while in the SETUP menu, the unit will always return to the last mode(s) still active.

Once the range is displayed, continue to hold the POWER button down for approximately 2 seconds while holding the aiming circle on the object and keeping the unit as steady as possible so as to allow the inclinometer enough time to measure angle. Then release the POWER button. Once you have released the power button, the line of sight will be displayed along with unit of measure. Beneath the line of sight distance and unit of measure, the degree of angle will be displayed for approximately 1.5 seconds, and will then automatically switch to the compensated range. The line of sight distance, unit of measure and automatic toggle from degree of angle to compensated distance will continue for 30 seconds at which time the display will automatically shut off.

BOW MODE EXAMPLE

Line of sight is 32 yards, angle is -44 degrees, and the Angle Range Compensated distance is 23 yards. The “ ” means “play” or “shoot as,” so instead of shooting as 32 yards, shoot as 23 yards. If you were to shoot as if 32 yards, you would shoot over the top of the deer because of the severe angle.

The Bushnell 204100 and 204101 models are high-performance binoculars designed for outdoor enthusiasts who demand quality, durability, and exceptional optical performance. These models boast a range of features and advanced technologies that set them apart from competitors in the market.

One of the standout characteristics of the Bushnell 204100 and 204101 is their advanced optics. Both models are equipped with fully multi-coated lenses that enhance light transmission and provide bright, crisp images even in low-light conditions. The BaK-4 prisms used in these binoculars ensure maximum light reflection and minimal light loss, which contributes to sharper images and better color fidelity.

Durability is another hallmark feature of these models. The Bushnell 204100 and 204101 are built with a rugged, yet lightweight body that is both waterproof and fog-proof, thanks to the use of nitrogen purging. This means that these binoculars can withstand harsh weather conditions, making them ideal for birdwatching, hiking, sporting events, and other outdoor activities. The rubber armor coating provides a secure grip and additional protection against bumps and drops, ensuring that they can endure the rigors of outdoor use.

Another advantageous technology featured in the Bushnell 204100 and 204101 is the inclusion of a twist-up eyecup design. This feature allows users to adjust the eyecups to their preference, accommodating both eyeglass wearers and those who do not wear glasses, ultimately enhancing the overall viewing experience. The generous field of view provided by these binoculars also allows for easy tracking of moving subjects, whether it’s wildlife or athletes in action.

In terms of magnification, both models offer a variety of options that cater to different user needs. Ranging from compact 8x to powerful 10x magnification, these binoculars provide versatility for any situation. The objective lens diameters range from 32mm to 42mm, ensuring a balance between portability and light-gathering capability.

In summary, the Bushnell 204100 and 204101 binoculars combine superior optical quality, rugged construction, and user-friendly features, making them an excellent choice for anyone seeking reliable performance in the field. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or a casual observer, these models deliver exceptional value and functionality in a compact and durable package.
