Brush™ (indicador no LCD - ) Este modo avançado permite ignorar objetos como galhos de árvores e matagais, de maneira que apenas seja exibida a distância aos objetos do plano de fundo. Quando mais de um objeto tiver sido captado, a distância do objeto mais afastado é visualizada e um círculo circundará o indicador Brush™, informando ao usuário que a distância ao objeto mais longínquo está sendo exibida no LCD.

Uma vez nesse modo, aperte o botão POWER para ligar a unidade. Em seguida, alinhe o retículo circular com o objeto cuja distância pretenda medir. Em seguida, aperte e mantenha pressionado o botão POWER e movimente o laser lentamente para o objeto desejado até um círculo envolver o indicador Brush. Se o feixe de laser reconhecer mais de um objeto (como por exemplo o galho de árvore e um cervo ao fundo), será exibida a distância do objeto mais distante (neste caso o cervo) e um círculo envolverá o indicador Brush, informando ao usuário que o LCD está exibindo a distância ao objeto mais distante (Figura 2). Há situações em que o feixe laser identifica apenas um objeto em seu trajeto. Neste caso, a distância será mostrada, mas como não se obtém a distância de mais de um objeto, um círculo não circundará

o indicador Brush.

DICA: Ao apertar o botão POWER, você pode movimentar lentamente o dispositivo de objeto a objeto e, intencionalmente, forçar o laser a atingir vários objetos, para assegurar que somente os objetos mais distantes sejam reconhecidos pelo laser.

Uma vez desligado o dispositivo, a unidade sempre retornará como padrão, ao último modo usado.
