Wird der gewünschte Entfernungskompensationsmodus angezeigt, wählen Sie ihn durch kurzes Drücken der POWER-Taste aus. Nach dieser Auswahl blinkt die aktuelle Maßeinheit, und zwar “Y” für Yard oder “M” für Meter, auf der LCD-Anzeige, wobei das SETUP-Symbol auch weiterhin leuchtet. Ein Drücken der MODE-Taste schaltet zwischen den Maßeinheiten hin und her. Wenn die gewünschte Maßeinheit angezeigt wird, die POWER-Taste drücken, um die Maßeinheit zu akzeptieren.

Wenn der Benutzer den GEWEHR-Modus wählt und nachdem er die Maßeinheit festgelegt hat, hat er zwei weitere Wahlmöglichkeiten:

1.Variable Sight-In (VSI™) (variable Anschussvorrichtung) - ermöglicht dem Jäger, zwischen vier Anschussentfernungen zu wählen (100, 150, 200 oder 300 Yards bzw. Meter). Die Anzeige “Sight Dist” schaltet ein und die aktuelle Anschussentfernungszahl blinkt im unteren Bereich der Anzeige (d.h. 100, 150, 200 bzw. 300). Drücken und Loslassen der Modus-Taste lässt die Anschussentfernungsoptionen im Kreis durchlaufen. Sobald die gewünschte Anschussentfernung angezeigt wird, diese durch Drücken und Loslassen der Einschalttaste wählen.

2.Bei Wahl des GEWEHR-Modus schließlich, und so lange wie eine Maßeinheit und eine Anschussentfernung gewählt wurde, haben Sie die Option zu bestimmen, wie Sie Ihren Haltepunkt/Geschossabfall angezeigt haben möchten. Wenn die Maßeinheit Yards ist, können Sie zwischen Zoll und Bogenminuten (MOA) wählen. “CM” für Zentimeter bzw. “IN” für Zoll blinkt in der LCD und das SETUP-Symbol ist weiterhin erleuchtet. Sobald das gewünschte Ballistikmaß angezeigt wird, wählen Sie es durch Drücken und Loslassen der Einschalttaste. Wenn die vorher gewählte Maßeinheit Meter war, wird Ihr Haltepunkt/Geschossabfall automatisch in Zentimeter angezeigt.

Nach der Rückkehr zum normalen Bedienungsmenü sind auf der LCD-Anzeige der aktuelle Kompensationsmodus und die aktuelle Maßeinheit zu erkennen, wie unten dargestellt.
