GRUNDLEGENDE BEDIENUNG

Sie müssen eine neue Batterie korrekt einsetzen, wie in „Einsetzen der Batterie“ beschrieben.

Wenn Sie Ihr Equinox-Nachtsichtgerät in einem beleuchteten Bereich testen wollen, muss die Objektivlinsenkappe (enthalten, nicht dargestellt) auf die Objektivlinse (2) gesetzt werden, bevor Sie die Einschalttaste drücken (3). Die Objektivlinsenkappe besitzt eine Nadellochöffnung, die zu Testzwecken eine geringe Lichtmenge durchlässt. Wenn Sie das Gerät in der Dunkelheit testen oder einsetzen, nehmen Sie die Objektivlinsenkappe ab und aktivieren Sie das Gerät mithilfe der Einschalttaste. Die grüne Betriebs-LED

(4)signalisiert, dass das Gerät eingeschaltet ist. Denken Sie immer daran, das Gerät nach dem Gebrauch auszuschalten. Legen Sie das Gerät nicht weg, solange die Anzeige noch leuchtet.

VORSICHT: Das Gerät kann auch bei extrem kalten Wetterbedingungen benutzt werden. Wenn es aber zurück in eine warme Umgebung gebracht wird, müssen Sie etwa 5 Stunden warten, bevor Sie das Gerät erneut verwenden. Das Gerät kann anderenfalls durch Kondensation beschädigt werden, die sich an den inneren Schaltkreisen des Geräts angesammelt haben kann.

VERWENDUNG DES IR-Illuminators

Ihr Equinox-Nachtsichtgerät verfügt über eine eingebaute Infrarotbeleuchtung (5). So können Sie auch bei vollständiger Dunkelheit sehen, wenn keinerlei Umgebungslicht wie z. B. Mondlicht vorhanden ist. Um die Infrarotbeleuchtung zu aktivieren, drücken Sie einfach die IR-Taste (6) neben der Einschalttaste. Die rote IR-LED (7) signalisiert, dass die Beleuchtung eingeschaltet ist. Der Abdeckungswinkel des IR-Strahls ist einstellbar. Um den Strahl zu verkleinern, drehen Sie die Haube der IR-Beleuchtung (8) nach links und ziehen Sie sie nach vorne. Um den Strahl zu verbreitern, schieben Sie die Haube der IR-Beleuchtung (8) zurück und drehen Sie sie nach rechts.
