FONCTIONNEMENT DE BASE

Veiller à ce qu’une pile neuve ait été installée, conformément aux instructions du paragraphe « Mise en place de la pile ».

Si vous souhaitez tester votre appareil de vision nocturne Equinox dans une zone éclairée, assurez-vous que le capuchon de lentille d’objectif (fourni, non illustré) recouvre bien la lentille (2) avant d’appuyer sur le bouton ON (MARCHE)(3). Le capuchon de lentille d’objectif est doté d’un trou de visée qui admet une petite quantité de lumière nécessaire pour le test. Pour tester ou utiliser l’instrument dans l’obscurité, retirer le capuchon de lentille d’objectif et activer l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton ON (MARCHE). La LED verte

(4)indique que l’instrument est sous tension. Ne pas oublier de mettre l’instrument hors tension après utilisation. Ne pas ranger cet instrument tant que le témoin est allumé.

ATTENTION : Il est possible d’utiliser cet appareil par temps très froid. Cependant, lorsque l’appareil est ramené dans un environnement plus chaud, il faut attendre environ 5 heures avant de l’utiliser de nouveau. En effet, la condensation potentiellement accumulée sur les circuits internes peut endommager l’appareil.

UTILISATION de l’illuminateur IR

Votre appareil de vision nocturne Equinox est équipé d’un illuminateur infrarouge intégré (5). Celui-ci vous permet de voir même dans des conditions d’obscurité totale, lorsqu’il n’existe aucune source de lumière ambiante telle qu’un clair de lune. Pour l’activer, il suffit d’appuyer sur le bouton IR(6) situé près du bouton ON. La LED IR rouge (7) indique que l’illuminateur est activé. Il est possible d’ajuster l’angle de couverture du faisceau de l’illuminateur IR. Pour réduire le diamètre du faisceau, tourner le capot de l’illuminateur IR

(8)dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre puis tirer vers l’avant. Pour augmenter le diamètre du faisceau, enfoncer le capot de l’illuminateur IR (8) puis le tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
