COMMENT FONCTIONNE LA VISION NOCTURNE ?

Les appareils de vision nocturne Bushnell de technologie analogique (« Gen 1») recueillent et amplifient la lumière ambiante au travers de l’objectif. Celle-ci est ensuite focalisée sur l’intensificateur d’image. A l’intérieur de l’intensificateur, une photocathode est « excitée » par la lumière et convertit l’énergie des photons en électrons. Ces électrons sont accélérés dans un champ électrostatique à l’intérieur de l’intensificateur et viennent frapper un écran phosphorescent (semblable à un écran de télévision monochrome vert) qui produit une image visible. C’est l’accélération des électrons qui assure l’amplification et rehausse l’image. Mise en place de la pile

Cet instrument utilise une pile lithium CR123. Pour l’installer, ôter le couvercle du compartiment à pile (1) situé à l’avant de l’instrument en le dévissant (dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre). Insérer la pile dans le compartiment, extrémité plate (borne négative) face à vous (dans la direction du ressort du couvercle). Revisser le couvercle du compartiment à pile (dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre).
