Installing the Scanner Cartridge

Insert the scanner cartridge into the cartridge holder, then lower the car-

tridge lock lever until it locks in place.

Make sure that the paper thic kness lev er is set to the Up position and close

the front cover.

Before closing the front cover of the printer, make sure that the paper thick-

ness lever is set to the Up position. If you scan the image with the paper

thickness lever set in the Down position, scanning results may be unsatis-

factory.
