Checking the printer and computer connection
Recommended printer cable speciļ¬cations are as follows.
When using the parallel interface:
Material: AWG28 or larger
Type: Twisted-pair shielded cable
Length: Up to 2.0m (6.5 ft)
Connectors: Amphenol 30360 or equivalent
When using the USB interface:
Material: AWG28 (data wiring pair) or AWG20 to 28 (dis-
tribution pair)
Type: Twisted-pair shielded cable
Length: Up to 5.0m (16.4 ft)
Connectors: USB standard Series B pluggable
