Bulb Exposures
A bulb exposure starts when you press the shutter button fully and ends when you release the shutter button. Bulb exposures are useful when long exposures are required for night scenes, fireworks, astronomical photogra- phy, etc.
1 Turn the Command Dial to < >.
2Set the shutter speed to “ | ”. | |
• Turn the < | > dial until “ | ” is |
displayed on the LCD panel.
• “ ” follows “ ”.
3 Press and hold down the < > button and turn the < > dial to set the desired aperture.
4Start the bulb exposure.• Press and hold down the shutter button.
During the bulb exposure, “ ” blinks on the LCD panel.
•The bulb exposure continues as long as you hold down the shutter button.
• Remote Switch
•Bulb exposures can also be taken with wireless remote control (optional). Press the transmit button to start the exposure, and press it again to stop the exposure. (DATE Model only)
•With a new set of batteries, the maximum bulb exposure time (at 20˚C) will be about 4 hours.
