Set the Mode Dial to <k>.
X The reflex mirror will make a sound, then the image will appear on the LCD monitor.
Select [Movie exposure]. Under the [o] tab, select [Movie exposure], then press <0>.
Select [Manual].
Select [Manual], then press <0>.

Manual Exposure Shooting

You can manually set the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed for movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is for advanced users.

4 Set the shutter speed and aperture.

To set the shutter speed, turn the <6> dial. The settable shutter speeds depend on the frame rate <9>.

8/ 7 : 1/4000 sec. - 1/60 sec.

6/ 5/ 4: 1/4000 sec. - 1/30 sec. To set the aperture, hold down the <O> button and turn the <6> dial.

Set the ISO speed.

Press the <Z> button and use either <6> or <U> key to select the ISO speed.

Auto ISO setting: ISO 100 - 6400

Manual ISO setting: ISO 100 - 6400
