Shooting with the Digital Tele-Converter
The digital tele-conve rter feature uses di gital zoom to achiev e the
effects of a tele-con verter (a lens used in telephoto shoo ting).

Accept the setting.
1.Use the or button to select
[Standard].
2.P ress the button.

Press the zoom lever
toward and shoot.
•The combined digital and optical
zoom setting will displa y in the LCD
monitor.
•The image may appear coarse
depending upon the selected
recording pixels (the zoom factor
appears in blue).
•Press the zoom lever toward to zoom out.

Select [Digital Zoom].

button to select [Digital Zoom].

[1.4x] or [2.3x].
