CSetting the flash mode in the scene auto selector mode

Auto (default setting) or Off can be selected in the flash mode (A 28).

When U (Auto) is selected, the camera automatically sets the flash mode according to the determined scene mode.

When W (Off) is selected, the flash won’t fire regardless of the shooting conditions.

CRestrictions applied to the functions in the scene auto selector mode

You can set the Image mode (A 95) only by pressing d. If the image mode setting is changed,

 

the changed image mode is applied to also the other shooting modes (except for movie menu).

Digital zooming is not available.

The macro mode button (A 9, 31) on the multi selector is not available.

Even if e(Portrait) is selected, the smile indicator (A 95) is not displayed.

In iClose-up, the AF area mode (A 103) is set to Auto.
