Viewing Multiple Pictures: Thumbnail Playback

Press f (h) in full-frame playback mode (A 26) to			1	9
display pictures in “contact sheets” of thumbnail
images. The following operations can be performed
while thumbnails are displayed.
To	Use	Description			A
Choose pictures		Press the multi selector H, I, J or K.			9

			When f (h) is pressed, display
Change number of pictures			picture thumbnails in the following
	f (h)		order:	–
displayed		g (i)	4 ➝ 9 ➝ 16
			When g (i) is pressed, the number of
			thumbnails changes reversely.
Cancel thumbnail playback		k	Press k.	26
		c
Switch to shooting mode			Press c or the shutter-release button
			to return to the last shooting mode	26
			selected.

While pictures selected for printing (A 91) and		Print-order icon
protected pictures (A 111) are chosen, the icons			1	9
shown at right are displayed with them. Movies
are displayed as film frames.

	sort and Favorite pictures playback
•	When Thumbnails are displayed in the Auto sort mode (A 60) , the		1	3
	icon of the genre of the played back pictures will appear at the
	right top of the screen.
•	The Add favorite pictures icon will be shown at the top right of the
	screen when thumbnail playback mode is entered while in favorite
	pictures playback (A 66).			49
