Camera Settings that Cannot Be Set at the Same Time

Restrictions apply to the following settings in A (auto) mode.

Flash mode

Flash turns off at Continuous settings of Continuous, BSS or Multi-shot 16. Applied setting is restored when Single or Intvl timer shooting is selected.

Self-timer

If self-timer is on, only one shot will be taken when shutter is released, regardless of settings chosen for Continuous.

Applied Continuous settings are restored when picture is taken or self-timer is turned off.

ISO sensitivity

When ISO sensitivity is set to 3200, Image mode cannot be set to h 3648×2736, i 3648×2736, L 2592×1944, P 3584×2016, and

s 2736×2736. At these image size settings, selecting 3200 for ISO sensitivity automatically switches the Image mode setting to M 2048×1536. When any option other than 3200 is next selected for ISO sensitivity, the original image mode setting is restored.

At an ISO sensitivity setting of 3200, the Multi-shot 16 option of the continuous shooting mode is not available. At a Continuous setting of Multi-shot 16, selecting 3200 for ISO sensitivity switches the Continuous setting to Single. The Single setting does not change even when ISO sensitivity is set to options other than 3200.

Continuous

If Continuous setting is set to Multi-shot 16, Image mode will be set to L Normal (2592).

If Continuous mode is restored to any setting other than Multi-shot 16 the settings for Image mode will also be restored.

White balance

White balance is automatically set to Auto and cannot be adjusted when Black- and-white,Sepia or Cyanotype is selected for Color options.

Applied white balance setting is restored when Standard color, Vivid color or Pastel is selected.

Distortion control

When Distortion control is set to On, Continuous will change to Single. After that, if Distortion control is returned to Off, Continuous remains Single.
