Special Scene Mode

Mode Dial

By simply selecting one of the following 6 modes, you can shoot the image with the most appropriate settings for the scene.

Foliage

Appropriate for shooting beautiful

images with flowers, leaves or trees.

 

Appropriate for shooting scenes such

Snow as snowy mountains while preventing dark subjects and bluish backgrounds.

Appropriate for shooting scenes by

Beach the sea while preventing dark subjects and enhancing the blue of

the sea.

Fireworks Appropriate for shooting fireworks.

Appropriate for shooting images with the Waterproof Case

WP-DC30 (sold separately). This

Underwater mode yields image data with less effects of minute sand, dirt or other

particles underwater and records images in natural hue by reducing the bluish tone.

Prevents camera shake and

Indoor maintains the subject's true color when shooting under fluorescent or

tungsten lighting.

1Turn the mode dial to (Special Scene mode).

z The current Scene mode screen is displayed.

2Select the scene you wish to shoot using or and shoot the image.

zThe name of the Scene mode is displayed for six seconds each time you change the mode.

zShooting procedures are the same as for the
