Turn the <5> dial to select [z

Beep], then press <0>.

2Select [Off].

Turn the <5> dial to select [Off],

then press <0>.

You can also silence the beeper

CF Card Reminder

This prevents shooting if there is no CF card in the camera. This can be

set in all shooting modes.

1Select [Shoot w/o card].

Turn the <5> dial to select [z

Shoot w/o card], then press <0>.

2Select [Off].

Turn the <5> dial to select [Off],

then press <0>.

If [Off] has been set and you press the shutter button while there is no CF

card in the camera, “no CF” will be displayed in the viewfinder and LCD

panel.
