Sending documents

Direct Sending __________________________________

To scan and transmit a document one page at a time without storing it in memory first, follow the steps below. This procedure is called “Direct Sending”.

Use Direct Sending if you want to visually confirm that the fax scans the document.

Each page is scanned as it is sent.

Manual Sending ________________________________

If you would like to first speak with the person you are sending the fax to, use Manual Sending. You need to connect the optional handset or an extension phone to the fax for Manual Sending.
