Correct display is not possible unless the camera video output

format (NTSC or PAL) matches the TV format. To change the video output format, press the <n> button and choose [Video System] on the [3] tab.

When the camera and TV are connected, you can also shoot while previewing shots on the larger screen of the TV. To shoot, follow the same steps as when using the camera screen. AF-Point Zoom (=65) and MF-Point Zoom (=89) are not available.

Powering the Camera with Household Power

Powering the camera with AC Adapter Kit ACK-DC40 (sold separately) eliminates the need to monitor the remaining battery level.

1Make sure the camera is off.

2 Insert the coupler.

zzFollow step 2 in “Inserting the Battery and Memory Card” (=14) to open the cover.

zzFollow step 5 in “Inserting the Battery and Memory Card” (=15) to close the cover.

3 Connect the adapter to the coupler.

zzOpen the cover and insert the adapter plug fully into the coupler.

4 Connect the power cord.

zzInsert one end of the power cord into the compact power adapter, and then plug the other end into a power outlet.

zzTurn the camera on and use it as desired.

zzWhen finished, turn the camera off and unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Do not disconnect the adapter or unplug the power cord while

the camera is still on. This may erase your shots or damage the camera.

Do not attach the adapter or adapter cord to other objects. Doing so could result in malfunction or damage to the product.
