Customizing the Camera (My Camera Settings)

You can select the theme, start-up image and sound, operation sound, self-timer sound and shutter sound used on this camera. These are called My Camera settings. You can also customize the and options for each item with images recorded on the memory card and newly recorded sounds or by using the supplied software. See the Software Starter Guide for details.

Sets the sound played 2 seconds before the shutter releases in self-timer Selftimer Sound mode.*1

Sets the shutter sound when you depress the shutter button. There is no Shutter Sound shutter sound in Movie mode.*1

*1 How the [Mute] setting in the [ (Set up)] menu and each sound setting in the [ (My Camera)] menu are related

To turn off the start-up sound, operation sound, self-timer sound and shutter sound all at once, set [Mute] in the

[ (Set up)] menu to [On]. When [Mute] is set to [On], each sound option will not play even if they are set individually to [On]. Note that the warning signal beeps even when the [Mute] setting is [On].
