Shooting
Selecting a Shooting Mode
The camera features the following shooting modes.
| Auto | Most settings are automatically selected by |
| the camera. | |

| Manual | The exposure compensation, white balance |
| and other settings can be manually selected. | |

| |
|
|
|
| Stitch Assist | Images are shot in overlapping series to |
| create single panoramic images. | |
|
| |
|
|
|
| Movie | Shoots movie clips. |

Some settings selected in each shooting mode are saved when the power is turned off (p. 161).
• Select a shooting mode with the shooting mode dial.
In the descriptions of the shooting functions that follow, the icons beside the titles indicate the applicable shooting modes. Before you proceed with Step 1 in each case, set the camera to one of the shooting modes indicated by the icons in the title (p. 2).
