Thank you for purchasing the Canon EF Adapter XL. This product is a mount adapter which allows interchangeable EOS lenses (EF lenses) to be used with the camcorder which have an XL system mount compatible with the EF Adapter.

Before using this adapter, make sure that your camcorder is compatible with the XL Mount System

(Products which bear the mark are compatible with the XL Mount System).

Since EF lenses were designed for use with still cameras, when they are used with this product on camcorders the conditions of use are different.

This product is not prepared for use with autofocus. When you focus, do so manually. Lenses that are not

fitted with a manual focus function therefore cannot be used.
