Banner

To set your Personal or ERI banner:

Personal Banner

The Personal Banner can be up to 16 characters and is displayed on

the idle screen.

1. From idle mode with the flip open , press the Center Select Key

[MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select

Key [OK]. Press  Display Settings,  Banner,  Personal

Banner.

2. Enter your banner text (up to 16 characters) then press the

Directional Key / down to advance to the Text C olor field.

3. Press the Directional Key = left or right to choose the desi red

color, then press the Center Select Key [SET].

ERI Banner

If you use ERI Service, ERI Text is shown on the sub banner.

1. From idle mode with the flip open , press the Center Select Key

[MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select

Key [OK]. Press  Display Settings,  Banner,  ERI

Banner.

2. Select On or Off, then press the Center Select Key [SET].

Backlight

Setting the Internal Display Backlight

To set the duration and brightness of backlight illumination for the

internal display:

1. From idle mode with the flip open , press the Center Select Key

[MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select

Key [OK]. Press  Display Settings,  Backlight,  Display,

 Internal.
