Warning!
Do not clean terminals inside the handset, or they may be
damaged.
If mud or sand has adhered to the handset, do not use it until
wiping off completely.
Do not place the handset directly on a sand beach. If sand gets
into the Earpiece or Speaker, sounds may be difficult to hear.
Sand getting into the handset’s hinge can cause mechanical
failures such as heat generation.

The Battery
The handset comes with a rechargeable battery.
Warning!
Use only approved batteries for the Brigade. Wipe your handset
before opening the battery cover to prevent moisture or dust fro m
entering.
Failure to follow the below directions for installing/removing the
battery could result in product failure.
Fully charge the battery before using the handset for the first tim e.

Installing the Battery

Warning!
Do not install the battery where water or liquid may fall directly on
the handset or battery or in a humid place such as a bathroom.
Otherwise, the electrical circuits may short or ero de and cause
the handset to malfunction.
When removing the battery cover with a fingernail, the n ail can be
broken.
