Answering a call
NOTES
The default answer option is set to Flip Open and Any Key so
you can directly answer an incoming call by simply opening the
handset or pressing any key. For information on how to select an
answer option, see page 156.
When you receive a call with the flip open, the phone
automatically goes to Speaker On which enables spe akerphone.
Caller ID displays the number of the person calling when your
phone rings. If the caller’s identity is stored in Contacts, the nam e
appears on the screen.
1. When the phone rings or vibrates , with the flip closed, press the
Send Key to answer the incoming call.
2. Press the End/Power Key to end the call.
NOTES
When you ignore an incoming call by pressing the Center Sele ct
Key [Options] and Ignore with the flip closed, you are
prompted whether to send a text message to a caller. Selecting
Yes and pressing the Center Select Key [OK] displays the Quick
Text list. You can select an appropriate text phrase from the list
and press the Center Select Key [OK] to create a text message
to a caller.

text message to a caller. Selecting Yes and pressing t he Center
Select Key [OK] displays the Quick Text list. You can select an
appropriate text phrase from the list and press the Center Select
