Working with eActivity Files

You do not need to open a folder if you want to create the new file in the Storage Memory or SD card root directory.

For information about creating a new folder, see “Creating a Folder in Storage Memory or on an SD Card” (page 12-7-5).

3.Press 2(NEW).

This displays a dialog box for inputting a file name.

4.Enter up to eight characters for the eActivity file name, and then press w.

• This displays a blank workspace screen.

The following are the characters you can use in a file name: A through Z, {, }, ’, ~, 0 through 9

u To open a file

1.While the file list screen is displayed, use the 6 function key to select the memory area (Storage Memory or SD card) that contains the file you want to open.

2.If the file you want to open is in a folder, use f and c to highlight the folder, and then press 1(OPEN) or w.

3.Use f and c to highlight the file you want to open, and then press 1(OPEN) or w*1.

This will open the file.

*1 If a memory error occurs in step 3, delete capture memory contents and clipboard data, or try moving the data to your computer’s hard disk or an SD card.
