Specifying the File Name Serial Number Generation Method

Use the following procedure to specify the method for gener- ating the serial number used for file names (page 91).

1.In a recording mode or the Play Mode, press MENU.

2.Select the “Set Up” tab, select “File No.,” and then press [].

3.Use [] and [] to change the setting, and then press SET.

To do this for a newly saved file:
