If your cable tension monitor has been activated the Indicator Light will blink 9 times. See (Figure 1) page 16.

To Open the Door Manually

The door should be fully closed if possible. Pull down on the emergency release handle until a click noise is heard from the unit and lift the door manually. To reconnect the door to the operator, pull down the emergency release handle straight down a second time until a click noise is heard from the unit. The door will reconnect on the next UP or DOWN operation.

Test the emergency release:

•Make sure the door is closed.

•Pull the emergency release handle. The door should then be able to be opened manually.

•Return the door to the closed position.

•Pull the emergency handle a second time.

•Reconnect the door to the operator.

To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from a falling door:

•If possible, use emergency release handle to disengage door ONLY when door is CLOSED. Weak or broken springs or unbalanced door could result in an open door falling rapidly and/or unexpectedly.

•NEVER use emergency release handle unless doorway is clear of persons and obstructions.
