Displaying CMS
Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to configure the HTTP server interface:

Launching CMS
To display the switch access page, follow these steps:
Step1 Enter the switch IP address in the browser, and press Return.
Step2 Enter your username and password when prompted. If no username is c onfigured o n y our swi tch (th e
default), enter only the enable password (if an enable password is configured) in the password field.
The switch home page appears, as shown in Figure 3-4.

Step1 configure terminal Enter global configuration mode.
Step2 ip http authentication {enable | local |
tacacs}Configure the HTTP server interface for the type of authentication you
want to use.
•enable—Enable password, which is the default method of HTTP
server user authentication.
•local—Local user database as defined on the Cisco router or access
server is used.
•tacacs—TACACS serv e r is use d.
Step3 end Return to privileged EXEC mode.
Step4 show running-config Verify your entries.
