Configuring WDS

Step6 Check the Authentication Settings check box. The fields in the Authentication Settings area get

enabled.

Step7 For the RADIUS protocol, in the Shared Secret field, enter a shared secret value. This value will be

entered identically on the WDS device when configuring the ISE as a RADIUS server.

Step8 Click Submit to validate your entries.

Step9 Repeat Step 3 to Step 8 for each WDS device candidate.

Step10 Choose Administration > Identities Management > Identities.

The Network Access Users page appears.

Note This procedure shows configuration of users in the ISE internal database. ISE can also use an

external database. Please see the ISE guide for more details.

Step11 Click Add to add a new user.

Step12 In the Name field, enter the username configured for the access point client to the WDS.

Step13 In the Password and Confirm Password fields, enter the exact same password that you entered on the

access point on the Wireless Services AP page.

Step14 Click Submit.

Step15 Repeat Step 11 to Step 14 for each access point that uses the WDS device.
