Mountingand Connection

Holdthe radio with the mounting bracket in
theexact desired location. If there is no
interference,remove the bracket and use it as
atemplate to mark the location for the
mountingscrews.

Location

Planlocation of transceiver and microphone
bracketbefore starting the installation.
Select a locationthat is convenient for operation,
yetdoes not interferewith the driveror passenger.
Thetransceiver is usually mounted to the
undersideof the dash with the microphone
bracketbeside it.
Note
Thetransceiver is held in
theuniversal mounting bracket
bytwo thumbscrews which
allowfor adjustment at a
convenientangle.
Thebracket includes two
self-tappingscrews and star
washers.The mounting must be
mechanicallystrong,
convenientlylocated.

Drillthe holes and secure the bracket.

receptaclemarked “ANT” on the back of
theunit.
